Better Burgers Are Made With a Burger Press
We always use a burger press. The one in these photos is no longer available but this one is a new one I also love – check it out. With a burger press we can quickly, easily and perfectly make great burgers. It offers thickness control and effortless removal, and it does more with less time and labor than the cheap alternatives.
You can make your patties anywhere from 1/4″ to 1/2″ thick patties and you can even make hamburgers, sausage patties, crab cakes and more. Because the burgers have uniformity, they cook evenly every time. The patty is easily removed because it has a non-stick coating which also makes it easy to clean up.
My favorite burger is approximately a pound of ground turkey, approximately a pound of lean ground beef and two eggs. Mix it all together and bake. I bake them on a regular cookie sheet on parchment paper – easy cleanup. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 20 minutes or until done.
- 2 Eggs
- Approximately 1 pound ground turkey
- Approximately 1 pound ground beef
- Mix all ingredients together
- Form into patties
- Bake in oven at 350 degrees for approximately 20 minutes
- Serve based on your personal preferences
